Our second Fair Start library opens at Buckingham Primary School

Today was a brilliant day as we launched our second Fair Start library at Buckingham Primary School in Hampton. Thank you to the wonderful staff, fabulous pupils and volunteers who made this day happen.

Our thanks also go to Munira Wilson, local MP and Zoe Antoniades, author of the Cally & Jimmy stories, who helped to make the day so special for all of us.

Best of all was the excitement and enthusiasm of the children, from the school prefects who spoke so beautifully, to the children who stood up in front of the whole school to share their very first impressions of their new library. Special thanks go to the artists and writers who drew and painted wonderful cards to thank the Fair Start volunteers for their efforts in creating a new lending library full of exciting stories. We hope you will have many happy days in your library.
